At the heart of the Mission Rwanda community-wide effort is Child Sponsorship. Working through World Vision, the largest Christian humanitarian organization in the world, families in the Elk River area and beyond are able to personally sponsor a child in our partner community of Karaba, Rwanda. Letters can be shared. Regulare updates of the child's progress will be received. The relationship that is formed is transforming both for the sponsor and the child

Child Sponsorship is $35.00 per month paid to World Vision. The local staff in Karaba responds to the child's needs on an individual basis and with the love of Christ. Sponsorship provides for food and clothing, immunizations and medical care, school tuition and uniforms, spiritual resources and support. The combined effect of sponsorship extends support to the child's family and community Sponsored children are viewed as a blessing from God.
